It’s been a fun ride so far on Twitter. Despite the uncertainty coming from Elon taking power, Twitter has really been making a move forward and I’ve been able to capitalize.

In the last 7 months, I have met many friends and also learned a ton about what works and what doesn’t work on Twitter. I wanted to share with you.

If you want to connect, then follow me on Twitter and send me a DM. Let’s chat!

Here are 10 things you can do to grow your Twitter Account:

Twitter Growth

Twitter is more than the short form message and memes. There are several communities that you can be a part of. Coming up with a long term strategy is most helpful. Also having a data testing strategy.

You have the ability to get instant feedback on your ideas. The first part of your journey is creating and seeing what will stick.

But eventually you may adjust to a more data-driven or customer-focused approach.

1. Positioning / Brand Development

Positioning is how you are viewed in the minds of your prospects and customers. In your niche or industry, is there something you can be first in? We usually remember the firsts… first President, the first man to walk on the moon, etc.

2. Twitter Threads and Giveaways

Long-form content is very valuable on Twitter and it helps your audience really see your writing and curating abilities. Using a thread format is effective at delivering more value to your readers.

3. Twitter Spaces

Twitter Spaces is a social audio feature that lets you connect with other people in real-time across the world. Hearing someone’s voice is another way to connect with them.

4. The Power of Copywriting and Content Writing

It comes in all forms and is relevant for all industries.

6. Join Groups and Communities

Find other groups where people are growing their audience on Twitter. You can share insights and support one another.

Twitter has a group feature where you can message other members. Also the Communities feature is pretty helpful. Or you can use a tool like Whatsapp, Telegram, or Discord for your group.

7. Schedule Your Content Ahead of Time

Learn how to batch-create content to leverage your time more effectively.

8. Tweet every day

You must be consistent to stay top-of-mind especially on Twitter.

Have fun and grow along the way. If the journey is not fun and challenging, then you will have trouble sticking with it. Both creating tweets and engagement is best as a daily practice.

9. Focus on deeper connections

Making friendships is really where the platform shines. More video or phone calls to get to know the people on the other side of the screen.

10. Provide MORE Value

A book that helped me grasp this concept is the Go Giver by Bob Burg.

— lead with value and service to other people. The Money Twitter is about support both ways. With a general wish for the well-being of the other good community members involved. It is a mastermind opportunity.
